It is called a pan flute, but it is also known as a panpipe or a vertical flute.

It looked like a panpipe to me. I have two, they hardly cost anything. I live in a rural hippy Pagany area so we have lots of little stalls and I bought them from there on two seperate occasions.

I suggest going to zoo or safari shops, hippy shops, or plain music stores and asking from there.

However although the instrument LOOKED like a panpipe it didn't sound like one to me. It's hard for me to pinpoint the instrument sound but it was more like a flute. Perhaps a wooden flute or an Irish whistle type. I would have to watch the film again, but maybe try getting an Irish whistle too. They are much easier to play and also extremely cheap. You can buy these at the same places as above, but are also more common in ordinary music stores.
