You cover a lot of ground here, none of it very positive for a lasting, fruitful relationship. The first thing you should do is seek outside help from a third party, like a clergyman, counselor, etc. Unless you are both willing to get some help, the ultimate sacrifice would be divorce. Although it may be for the best, I think there are underlying issues that will continue to haunt both of you until you get to the bottom of them once and for all. Good luck!

Lack of communication is probably the biggest problem in relationships. Woman need emotional connections. Talking is the #1 way to develope emotional connections. We need conversations that have feeling. Sharing dreams and pain and happy thoughts. They want to talk about what's for dinner. When we have a problem we want to talk through them. They think that if you ignore the problem it goes away and they can't understand why we bring up fights from the past. We need resolution and they can't understand that. Too many relationships are lost over something that is so easy to fix. It is so sad.

You need marriage counseling. If you are already married you should already know your true feelings. You made a commitment
to each other. Doesn't that count for something? Be the bigger person. If you really love your partner, be willing to compromise. You'll only regret it if you don't try.

They both need express their feelings and not let the fear of rejection stop them from speaking from their heart. That's why people have throats, to swallow the stubborness and pride. And they find out it doesn't choke them like they thought it would.
