That means its a broken image. Meaning that the link to the image is incorrect or the website is down (that hosts that image).
I have seen glitches in IE to where I've seen a broken image but as soon as I right click the picture and hit Show Picture, it tries to refetch it and show it if it can.

You can also verify the image has a valid link to it by right clicking the image and hit Properties, then highlight the http:// address you see and copy paste it into the address bar. See if it displays that way.

If you dont see any picture at all, on any webpage, then that means you have images disabled. Click on Tools, Internet options, Advanced tab. Check the box that says Show Images to fix that issue.

Either the picture no longer exists, or it has been moved on the computer, or the address that the computer usually has to find the picture is not correct.. My guess is that whatever program you are using thinks it is supposed to be finding the picture in a certain place on your hard drive, but you moved or deleted the pic. Try to see if it is in your recycle bin. You might get lucky. Then restore it. Otherwise you need to find a copy and put it back or just forget it if there is no copy. Hope it helps some.

Picture file is probably to big to load with the others, if you want to resize them try using IrfanView its a free program try download.com
