Company number? If you mean his employee ID number, you could try calling their personnel or human resources department and have as much pertinent information available as possible (his Social Security number, department head's name, and of course, his name, address, and telephone number. You may have to provide a copy of his birth certificate, and/or some mail addressed to him to show his residence.

You could also look at his Company ID tag, which usually has that information printed upon it.

Note that some company's will NOT divulge this information over the phone and may require an "in person" visit or written communication.

If the ID number is required due to his death, you may have to provide a certified copy of his death certificate

If by "Company Number" you mean telephone number, you could always try 411.com or directory assistance.

Good luck!

If this is in reference to a business that he works for, look it up in the phone book. If you are referring to a military unit, call the base he is stationed at and ask for the orderly room, or the First Sergeant (first shirt is the slang term, but don't use it) of the unit he belongs to. If any of that fails, call your Senator's office, give them his name and Social Security number, and ask them for help to find him. The Red Cross is also a source of assistance. Barring his being assigned to a unit whose movements are secret, there should not be much of a problem in finding him.

Go to either yellowpages.com or whitepages.com. You'll need the complete address and zip code however.
