I understand that the academy does not usally pick this type of film unfortunately.

I also feel as you do-it is the best film of the year-- and Clive was outstanding

I read the book, which was amazing and thought provoking, but haven't seen the movie yet. I feel that I would be dissapointed by the way they portrayed some things, I get very attatched to good books. from the previews I've seen though, it does look like a great picture. I hope more people see it. If it is anything like the book it's what people need to be turning to today instead of heartless, thoughtless, and pointless movies.

This movie seems almost prophetic considering how the people of this earth are driven to destroy nature. Maybe it hits too close to home. Great movie though.

I totally agree with you. It was the best movie I saw in 2006.

i havent seen it but i have seen adverts and teasers to it and it looks fantastic
