Hi there. Las Vegas has a HUGE job market and if by hotel business you mean casino you are coming to the right place! It depends on what you want to do as far as what casino to apply for but they are all almost always hiring. You can go to www.craigslist.com, monster.com, lasvegasreviewjournal.com to look for jobs listed. Most casinos also have an employment center where you go to apply in person.

As far as low income housing goes I don't know much about that. Rent in Vegas is constantly increasing. I would search Craigslist for a possible roomie or check Apartmentguide.com, forrent.com and search low income and/or specify the amount you can pay in rent and those listings will pop up.

West Las Vegas is relatively cheap and so is parts of North Vegas (although the crime rate is very high).

Good luck to you.

Start with: lasvegasnewspapers.com

Housing Authority of Clark County is at:
5390 E. Flamingo Road Las Vegas
702-922-1560
the wait is very long so apply as soon as possible

Casino jobs are the quickest to get and most casinos have a daycare for their employees for a reduced price.

If you would like a Mon-Fri job, try a customer service call center. There are plenty. Try Sitel, it pays well, 6320 S. Post Rd, Las Vegas.

A nice complex for a reasonable price and great neighborhood, try Mesa Club it's on Mountain Vista & Ramrod in Henderson. It's 10 minutes outside Vegas.

Good luck and be careful
