Why won't my computer detect my usb cable? If anyone can help, im me at alohasunshine96826 (yahoo im).

computers don't detect cables. they detect devices attached to those cables. make sure you have a device connected to your usb cable. second, make sure you have the drivers installed for your device.

Computers do not detect cables, they detect gadgets at the end of the cable, if that thing is not detected, try to have the power on if it is off. Try it again twice I suggest, if it still not working, go to trouble shooting.

There are 2 modes to connect Sansa mp3 player to PC. One is MTP and other is MSC. When you put music on Sansa using MTP you'll not be able to see the songs in MSC mode. And the same in reverse. So, set USB mode to auto and power off your sansa. If you put hold switch to lock=>connection is made in MSC mode. With hold switch as unlocked=> MTP. Good luck!
