As a citizen of both international places i believe i can furnish an independent opinion. Canada and the U. S. are 2 of the freest international places interior the international except for that skinny line of gustapo isolating them (the border) The states/provinces are like mini international places of their own , each and each and every providing their own unique way of existence. you'll locate Canada somewhat more desirable liberal - tolerant of different cultures/ideas. From my reviews i hit upon Canadians more desirable keen to help one yet another out with out understanding the different man or woman - more desirable trusting ie; a Canadian will be more desirable in all probability to give up someone from mugging you. human beings seem to have more desirable of a shell equipped up round them - not so keen to crack you a grin or say hi - yet once you get via that shell you'll have a buddy for existence. it really is a lot less complicated to make $ interior the U. S.. Its safer in Can, a lot less gun violence. the execs & cons are infinite - yet really at the same time as it comes all the way down to it we are exceptionally a lot an same human beings. I stay in Windsor - artwork in Detroit - My mom is a yank - my pop a canuck.

Canada has more government services, the US has lower taxes.
That's really what it comes down to as far as quality of life between them. I like the US more, because I don't really need government services, but do appreciate my paycheck not being smaller than it should be. Other people would gladly give up a chunk of their pay for the government healthcare and stuff.
Other than that it's almost the same except that Canada's more Eurofied, if that's a word. Plus they have french people, which costs them a lot in my mind.

Being an American, I would be biased, but I also have ancestors (paternal grandfather, paternal grandmother's parents) who were born in Canada. Sorry, but I've never thought of leaving the US for Canada (and I've lived pretty much on the border for a good number of years).
Those who think health care in Canada is free are kidding themselves, because American tax rates are nowhere near as high as Canadian rates. You pay for it one way or the other.
