Do you personally believe that the actions of one individual can forever change the world? just curious.

if you mean the complete 100% whole world so then the answer is no. but yes one person can impact the majority of the world population. just a few names are nelson mandela, gandhi, bush etc... Prophet Muhammad, Jesus, etc...

The individual guys who founded the early religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc.) changed the world. The guy who invented gunpowder changed the world. Hell, Bush is changing the world right now.

Certainly. The actions of FDR, Harry Truman, and other US Presidents, as well as industrialists such as Andrew Carnegie and Bill Gates have caused great change in the world.

Jesus definitely did! And many others since Him have had a tremendous impact. Look at Bush, Oprah, Nelson Mandela, to name a few.
