OMG I bite my lips too...but not my nails, lol. My best advice for you is to keep a stick of lip balm in your pocket. When you think you're gonna start biting your lips, you can apply the balm instead, and that will keep you from biting them. Trust me, it works. As for the nails, just keep trimming them short once every week or two. Good luck.

Are you feeling any stress or anxiety? These could be a symptom of these feelings if so. If you think this may be the reason behind these habits, try eliminating the scource. Do you have a close family member or friend that you can talk to? Sometimes just being able to talk about our problems or concerns, helps to reduce levels of anxiety or stress. If you aren't feeling that this is behind the habits, you can try getting acrylic nails. My friend is a nail biter. She got nails put on and it ended the nail biting. If you can't afford to do this, than perhaps you can try coating your nails with a fine layer of vasoline, or some other nasty tasting product as a reminder not to bite your nails. As far as biting your lip goes, it's a habit that you are just going to have to remind yourself not to do. Good luck with this!

I've heard that if you put pure vanilla extract on your nails you wont bite them because of the bad taste. And maybe try lip gloss or lipstick for your lips. Good luck!

well do you bite them because you just do? or do you bite them because there uneven or jagged?
I use to bite my nails because they were uneven/jagged and that bugged me so i would bite them. Now a days I just keep a nail file with me everywhere I go to file them down.
You could also try putting Neem Oil on your fingers. It tastes nasty (so you know you wouldn't want to put your fingers in your mouth.), And its really good for your skin also. Maybe those suggestions would work.
About the Lip thing...I don't know. I bite my lip too alot! chapstick maybe?
Good Luck!

Since it is winter, wear some gloves.
At night lotion your hands and put on latex gloves to sleep in. Good for your hands and it may stop you from getting them in your mouth.
There is a nail biting liquid, that tastes bad. Have you tried that?
I think it is sold at drug stores.
Good Luck.

My daddy use to put something nasty on my sister's nails to make her stop. Everytime she bite her nails she did not like the taste! Try to put something that is nasty on yours.
