Just kidding. No, I don't think so. I'm not sure than medical technology has advanced so far that it can keep a human being alive without a brain. And even if it has, the body would just be a partially functioning shell.

Yes. The body's basic functions can go on without the brain if there's still the brain stem.

We know that according to the Field of Biology that life begins at conception, that is when the sperm and the egg come together in the case of Homo Sapient Sapient. Because from conception the Zygote (later Fetus) has all of the biologigcal characteristics of life, (i.e. Growth and development, the creation of waste, DNA, homeostasis, metabolism, ect.), and that there is no need to abandon the sure foundation of the Scientific Method for the weak and unsure ground of philosaphy in the seeking for answers to important questions in life.
With the following being understood please answer the followig questions.
Q1. Is the fetus a living organism, and by DNA can we prove that it is a member of the spesis Homo Sapient Sapient? YES or NO
Q2. Dose abortion destroy a Homo Sapient Sapient and thus constitute murder? YES or NO

Here's an example:
Forty-third president of the United States; former governor of Texas (1994-2000). Born July 6, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut. Bush — often referred to as simply "W" — is the eldest son of former President George Herbert Walker Bush and Barbara Pierce Bush. He grew up in Midland, Texas, where his father worked in the oil business.

The early 1970s marked a distinctly unfocused period in Bush's life, as he moved back to East Texas and worked intermittently as a management trainee at an agricultural firm and on U.S. Senate campaigns in Florida and Alabama. (In response to questions from reporters about possible drug use and heavy drinking during his bachelor days in Midland, Bush has called the early 1970s his "nomadic" period and has somewhat evasively stated that he would pass a background check going back as far as 1974.) In 1972, Bush entered Harvard Business School, earning his M.B.A. in 1975.

you would think so, by the way that some people think, but the fact is you can not live, you need your brain for not only voluntary actions like waving good bye, but also to allow your heart, lungs. and other organs to function, you can be alive with a lot of your brain dead, but you will not function in any way that is human other than to do infant functions, eat, sleep, pass urine and feces and that is just about it

If you're absent of a brain, even your involuntary functions (heartbeat, breathing, etc.) won't work, thus killing you. However, if you mean you have a brain but you're brain dead, it depends on how you're brain dead. It also depends on what you mean by "live." There are instances where a person is breathing but lacks brain function otherwise and will be deemed dead.
