depends on what you are going to the doctor for. I'd say by the time you can drive yourself there you should be able to go by yourself. That's 15-16 y/o by the way. I don' think there's a "have to be" i think you aren't required to have a parent with you when you're 18. if you feel like you don't want your parents there then ask them about it. also they're probably paying for it.. i'm sure they also want to be there to support you too

Usually 16 years old, but what do you have to hide from your parents? You may be surprised to know that your parents are more understanding and can help you, if at all possible check with them first and let them help you, they love you , and want to help you. Give your Parents a chance. Best Wishes!!!

You can get things like birth control and mental health care without telling your parents if you're a teenager, but for things like major surgery, and abortions in some states, they will need to give consent until you are 18.

In the UK, you can go and see your GP at whatever age - they will see you and your records are confidential as they take the hypocratic oath (a promise).
(I'm not sure why some responders said you'd have to be able to drive - what's that got to do with medical care?)

Any age.
You have to be "Gillick competent" for certain things - eg if you are asking for contraception.
Just go see your GP - I went on my own from about 14 because my mum used to interfere and not let me say what my symptoms were.
