I'm not sure if I'm right, but from seeing the news, it seemed like he was just keeping them in his apartment. One was missing 4 years ago and the other one just 4 days ago. What did he do to the boy who was abducted 4 years ago? If he had wanted to kill him, he would have done so already? But what was his use for them?

mark devlin was a sex offender. they haven't released anything that he's done to those boys yet, but if that boy was there for 4+ years, i'm guessing stuff happened.

Power! People like that are powerless in their real life and they desperately seek power over others in their fantasy lives. Only children and some women who are also feeling terribly powerless but have succumbed to the power of another in their life and are unable to break free and leave. Look at that 15 year old, what was keeping him there. He probably could have easily walked away at many different times during his captivity. It is a very sad comment about our society.

I am fearful it was sexual abuse and mental abuse. He looks to be a pathetic useless excuse for skin and had to get helpless children to force to feed his esteem. I say put him in a cage and let all parents who have missing children have a fork and go poke him till he dies. To remove a child from a home from his family and to isolate him through mental abuse so bad he fears to talk to anyone regarding the truth is of utmost crime. I say send him to his grave and let God give him his final reward.
