There is nothing wrong in still liking an ex. Just text with Happy Birthday and thinking of you. Hope it works out for the two of you.

You should ask yourself why he is your ex. If the reason you split up has not been resolved there is a chance that it would not work 2nd time around. If you txt him he will know that you still have feelings for him, if he answers, maybe he still has feeling for you too. If you do nothing you will always wish that you had, but if you do txt him you may get hurt. In the end you have to decide. Good Luck. I hope everything works out for the best for the both of you.

Is there something, some memory which you share, of good times that you can subtly refer to? (if he knows the buzz word, it won't look obvious) - alternatively, something like Still wishing you a happy birthday with a single x afterwards.

I'm with someone and if they got a txt from their ex first they would tell me if it was happy birthday wouldn't see anything wrong with that I'd say reply saying thanks you have a history if it was something more than that don't know it is a tricky one

If your ex husband is anything like MY ex husband, he'll just get mad that he had to pay 10 cents for a text. But just tell him happy birthday and that you're thinking of him. Or call him!

could you think of a happy previous birthday you spent with him and say that something about how that thinking about that happy day reminded you it was his birthday. Just a thought - sure there are lots of ways - good luck

If he doesn't feel the same way about you, then you will be wasting your time. Just send a simple txt wishing him happy birthday and if he's interested he will respond. If not then you have your answer.
