Yes members of the opposite sex can be true friends. My best friend is a guy, and we are closer than you could think. He doesn't act gay or anything, we just grew up together and have been friends since elementary. I think if you really want to just be friends with that person, and not have feelings for them, then it can work.

Yes very much so .... forever and ever!! Who wouldn't want a friend of the opposite sex to be their true friend. that way you can ask any question and get a truthful answer. But and a strong BUT think about if you get a boyfriend/ girlfriend I am sure there will be problems that will cause you to go your separate ways!!

yes absolutely no matter if its ur opposite. like dey say opposites attract so if its ment 2 be for dating why cant it be 2 be a best friend. other den dat yes opposites can be true friends! and it actually be better cause if u have like a problem wit like askin a girl out or advise of gurls u can ask ur best friend(da gurl)

absolutely they can be true friends. I have been blessed with having some of the best friendships I have ever known with men.
I really don tbelieve that friendship should be gender based. Its how yo feel when you are around this person and how you make them feel. But yes, it does work

if ur a guy and u hav a girl friend( and vis versa) you can still get along
BUT if u start 2 lik a pearson who is you friend and is the opposite sex as you ur friendship will b destroyed

Yes if you are both on the same page. And it is clear you are only friends and will always only be friends. I have some male friends who get the idea I will change my mind and have a sexual relationship with them, it will never happen and it ends our friendship.

If you ask my husband he'll say no because he believes males to be after one thing only...nookie! I believe otherwise.I work in a male dominated job and found,as a female,that I can have male friends without worrying about the "s" word coming into play.

Yes it is possible. I have a lot of friends who are guys. As far as being best friends goes, it takes a lot of hard work, but it can be done.
