At age 10,
hell I didn't even know what love was.
I thought boys were gross and ugh!
Shows how much time has passed (almost 9 years since i was 10) But don't start something soo crazy at an early age. Enjoy your childhood, I havent had a boyfriend, and girl let me tell you I FEEL LIKE IVE BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP with ANY guy that I try to have something with. Boys can be really sweet, but some can be real big jerks and lie and that is something you dont want to start at such an EARLY AGE!
start dating later on, like at 14 the youngest...enjoy your childhood!

I don't think dating at the age of 10,when you still watch Sesame Street, is such a good idea. Almost every girl wants to date around that age, but they are just too young.

At 10 years old your sister is not mature enough to date. Ten year old kids should being playing with toys and watching cartoons not going out on dates...
When I was 10 I was still playing with Barbie dolls. Kids grow up too fast now as it is...

NO. A 10 year old should still be playing with dolls. Dating is for teens 14 or older. You should keep your childhood as long as you can because once it's gone you can never get it back.

10 is too young to date formally. But she could go out as a group with friends of mixed gender. when I was a kid we all 'boyfriends' when we were like 7 years old... and we'd stage marriages on the playground... but we never dated.

NO! I wasn't allowed to date until 14-15. I don't even want to think about my 8 year old being close to dating yet!

no, that is too young, but they can be close friends who share mutual love for each other as long as they don't get sexual.
you need to explain to your sister that before dating, she needs to learn about the consequences and possibilities of dating. such as how boys think of girls and treat them if they like them or not, how to know if a guy cares about a girl or not, etc.

I don't think it's a good idea. Even though these days, more and more 4th and 5th graders are experiencing dating. Wait until she is 14 or 15.

I don't think 10 is old enough to date because you have to be at a certain maturity level.
