yes. U can get food stamps (and sect. 8 I think) unless u have been convicted of selling food stamps for drugs or making drugs.. Sucks I know.. A lot of Americans who have never done a crime can't qualify and felons and illegals (who commit a crime coming here) can get it in a second.

don't be ridiculous, if you are in prison they even stop your retirement , and most of the time your family can't even get welfare, as they want to punish the felons kids wife or anyone else who is associated with him, so if some one in prison is collecting welfare it is because he is using a different s,s, no, and the welfare office don't know he is in prison,

Yes, however, some agencies have adopted denying drug convicted offenders if the conviction was after August 1996, they can also deny if children 6 years and under are not up to date on immunization shots.

Probably if they are black. Godforbid you are white, even a NON felon and need welfare. Ask someone whos been through it! Its not easy to get it! Its reverse racism at its finest.

I doubt it as there are no programs that cover felons! They are like foster kids, dumped on the street on their 18th birthday!
