As a first year teacher I must assume that you are quite young, and like most Americans, you want to see Europe (or other overseas destination) RIGHT NOW.
My advice, and I've been there, done that, is see AMERICA first!
See what you have here before you try to decide on where the "best place" in the world might be. If you do as I suggest you could be in for a very pleasant surprise.
Now then, try applying for a summer position as a nature guide in one of our National Parks (i.e.: Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Glacier, etc.). Or be willing to work part-time at one of the lesser attractive service jobs in an American destination that appeals to you.
And finally, stay away from teaching! You need a break and a way to recharge your psche!
Good luck.

There's not a lot you can do in that two-month period abroad that would be financially rewarding AND exciting. For example, if you went to teach English in a Korean summer camp for kids, you would have to pay for your own airfare. You would probably only save about $1000 in six weeks.

By the end of the school year, the only opportunity that may appeal to you is a cold Corona on a hot beach away from 11 million screaming, needy kids and their indulgent, self-centered parents.
Enjoy!
