My doctor had me urinate on a stick..I sat back down in the waiting room, called again and got my weight checked, blood pressure,a few questions such as medical history..last menstrual period...cramps,spotting,etc. then they sent me to a room where i had to undress and put on a gown..they did a breast exam, pelvic exam where they checked for std's and checked the color of my cervix. They felt my uterus and checked if they would be able to hear the heartbeat or if it was too early still. Then they sent me home with some prescriptions for prenatal vitamins and set me up for my next appt which was in about another month. The good stuff comes at around your thirs appt when they give u your first ultrasound..thats the best part..=)

Well, they will get your vitals and weight, of course, and the first of many, many urine samples. The doctor will also perform a vaginal exam to make sure everything feels alright and get a swab to check your cervix for abnormal cells, and may order a blood test to check hormone levels and whatnot. You will also receive advice on or a prescription for prenatal vitamins w/ folic acid for that growing baby. Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy, it's the last quiet time for a long time! Sleep lots in the last part if you can, lol, you'll miss the sleep after meeting your baby!

First appointment is usually just alot of questions to get family medical history and such and then blood testing to confirm as well as get a hormone level. And also they will give you an estimated due date for the baby. Which those dates are subject to change after the first ultrasound. Good luck and congrats with the new baby on the way.

For pregnancy?

You'll get a butt load of blood work done..something like 5 or 6 tubes drawn.

You'll have a pelvic exam.

Possibly a pelvic ultrasound if there are any issues or concerns about the pregnancy.

You'll be asked your medical history.

You'll be weighed.

You'll have vital signs taken.

You'll have to pee in a cup for a urinealysis.

You'll get the Rx for the prenatal vitamins.

My first appointment started with a vaginal ultrasound (they don't do it over your tummy like in the movies when it's this early in the game) and of course, peeing in a cup. There wasn't a whole lot done during that first appointment other than confirming the pregnancy and checking weight and height and all that jazz. My second one involved an extensive "interview" where I answered lots of questions about family medicidal history and got all my bloodwork done. Congrats. :)

Well since my pap is due for this year, he'll proabably do that. Then he'll do a vaginal sonogram to see heartbeat, go sit in his office and hear the pregnancy stuff; like don't ride horses or skate, yada yada - take vitamins blah, blah - mine said to expect visit to be 2-3 hours

they at the instant are not genuine royalty; action picture star royalty and royalty linked with the monarchy are 2 quite a few issues. Kim would desire to be waiting to start her very family members. the baby could have perks simply by action picture star mum and dad. i don't be responsive to the way long the relationship between Kanye and Kim will final, simply by her historic previous of failed relationships.
