and it got me to wondering... is it really true that aids starting because some woman had sex with a monkey and is there any proff of it

well i would have said man if the person answering a question had.. the first time a heard it .. it was a person and second time it was a woman.. but i went under ask .com and found out it was when they capture monkeys the blood sometimes get transfer.. since they tend to bite

I have heard many versions. My favorite was a frenchman who had been in Africa too long decided to have sex with a primate, and contracted AIDS from that intimate soiree. However, there seems to be more of a laboratorial origin to this virus than a mere sexual escapade between a monkey and a sex-starved frog.

It would be more believable if you had said some GUY had sex with a monkey because in truth most guys will/have/would screw anything with a hole.

No proof...but it is hypothesized that the virus did make the jump from monkeys to humans. My understanding is that it came from killing and eating them...
