Does anyone know the name or remember a version of alice in wonderland with a dragon? It was at least partially a movie if not completely. Also, it has been around since at least the eighties. My sister remembers it as well. I've purchased nearly every version I can get my hands on and I cannot even find a mention of this lost movie...

HELP!

That was a Disney TV movie, Alice: Through the Looking Glass. It involved her returning to Wonderland and running from the Jabberwocky. You can find it for sale in random places, or if you want to just rent it, it's on Netflix. I hope you enjoyed this answer and it was what you're looking for.

hello. I'm looking for the same thing. i remember watching whatever this movie is, and i vividly remember a dragon. I'm pretty sure there was a scene in this film with a big party going on, and an egg hatches. I specifically remember a dragon flying up stairs while everyone was panicing. i also remember seeing a scene where a young girl is walking backwards down a hallway with a tall ceiling, and bumping into the dragon. i checked out Through The Looking Glass on Netflix, but all i found was a cartoon. it might be Dreamchild, cause Jim Henson did all the puppet work for the film.

The "dragon" is probably a reference to "Jabberwocky", which was a nonsense poem recited at the beginning of "Alice Through The Looking Glass". Check out film versions of "Through the Looking Glass."

JABBERWOCKY
Lewis Carroll
(from Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, 1872)

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Could this scene be from the movie you're talking about?
