Do you think Tendulkar should have shoulder to set the target to SA on fourth day SA/India test match. Tendulkar was on the crease after comfertabale partnership of Rahul and Sourabh of 84 runs, Tendulkar should have shoulder the responsibility to set the target. But by padding 62 deliveries scored 14 runs.. most to ordinery spinner of SA. Indias Keeper Dinesh Kartik scored 38 of 48 balls showing how to score against defensive spinners. There are many more incidences in the pase.....

I dont agree that Tendulkar is a great all round Batsman because
lately his performance has been really bad. I have to agree that he should have shouldered the responsibity for getting a better score on the fourth day, I mean we could have been in a winning position but we ended up losing the match. Time ans time again he has gone in to a defensive mode when a attacking stance would have done made a big difference.
If he would have aggressive and tried to score runs then SA would have had to go defensive, I mean how long do you think we were going to be able to bat without scoring runs.

Tendulkar is a great all around batsman and that is the reason he showed the lost art of padding in the third match. Clearly RSA was going to win that he knew that. You are not considered a great for not knowing when your team is going to lose. He padded 62 deliveries and scored only 14 runs that shows his determination of not using the bat but the pad instead. It requires a great determination. Can you expect that determination from Dhoni? Also remember he was padding not fast balls but the spin balls from the ordinary spinners who are likely to deliver fast balls in between. Sachin is a great batsman who has perfected the art of padding. Maza sachin changla

yes i agree that tendulkar is a all round batsman as said by late don bradman but because of his age his eye sight is becming poor but still he is the gretest batsman of the worl i think because he has an outstanding record of his past and i cant tell anything bad about sachin tendulkar because although of such problems he is playing and scoring runs in his fasion not so fast scoring rate he has now but still he has maintain a good strike rate.Yes he should sholder the target but everytime one man could not shoulder the responsibity.

Well , Tendulkar is the best batsman alive on this planet.

Coming to his recent performances, SreeSanth is a way better batsman than Sachin. Its not just Sachin, its the whole Indian batting line-up.

I hope that Tendulkar gets his old form back.

Sachin is a great allrounder for India. But now it is difficult to say him as all rounder. He did not score many runs in 2nd innings of third test against southafrica. He is now33-34years old.I think he should retire after 2-3 years.Even laxman after scoring suberb scores in 1st and 2nd test.He failed to score. But sehwag didnot score a 50 in the test series.

he is not an aggressive batsmen anymore..he is jus playing for the sake of being in the team..he dosen't take any risks while batting..he plays for himself and not for the country..i think he is still a good batsmen..but the passion to play for the country is missing..
