take your temp throughout the month. only have sex on the day it is the highest. if you have sex all the time, you are wasting his sperm!!! you can also use an ovulation predictor.

If you have been trying for a year, and this is documented in your chart, your insurance company should pay for some fertility testing. I would do that before going the adoption route, unless you already know that you have a problem. Otherwise, ask your OBGYN about adoption options. I work in a clinic in Illinois, and I know that our clinic has recommended places for adoptive parents, and also for patients that are giving their babies up. Good luck to you both. I understand the frustration of wanting a baby when everyone else around you is having them.

HI, I have talked to my doctor about the best way to increase your chances of getting pregnant he told me to have sex every other day... This way you can't miss your fertile days and also having sex everyday isn't good he told me that you need to have sex everyother day so that the sperm count can go back up with that day of rest!! also after having sex put a pillow underneath your butt not real high just so your slightly elevated and do not get up out of bed for at least a half hour this prevents most of the sperm from seeping out like it does as soon as you stand up.. best of luck to you..
