Coldplay used to be great, their first record was excellent, then with their second mmm they were good, but with the third I don't know what happened with them, they lost it I guess. (Yellow, sparks, the scientist, green eyes, my favorites)
Now Snow Patrol are the cool thing, they're getting better with every song, Chocolate and Chasing Cars are a good example.
Jorge Drexler (academy winner for best song for Motorcycle Diaries "Al otro lado del río") is the best spanish singer these days.
when it comes to pop, well, Justin Timberlake, his latest album is kind of cool, but quite repetitive, and Gwen just crossed the line between cool and "what the hell is that?"
