depends on the diet I suppose. I like cutting up celery and baby carrots and eating that.. sometimes dipping them in low fat ranch dressing.

Also, a handful of mixed nuts are a pretty good thinf to eat, although, you have to limit portion size, since they are relativily high in calories.

Another thing thats good when you're on a diet is chicken broth. It really fills you up without too many calories.

low fat cottage cheese with chopped fruit mixed in is healthy, filling and tasty and low in calories.

Lots and lots of green salads, with very little dressing. Bernstein's makes a good cheesy/Italian dressing with very little calories. About 25 calories for 2 tablespoons. Clear soups are also good. They'll fill you up with very little calories. Bouillion cubes only have about 5 calories per serving. They are high in sodium however.

Fish, and chicken, vegtables, and fruit. Also whole wheat bread, whole wheat rice, and whole wheat wheat. Stay away from white bread, pasta, chocolate, and Ice cream. Also tofu products come in all kinds of foods, including ice cream..If you want potatoes, baking them is the least fattening.
