I've never understood what the big deal is. Aren't we capable of putting the seat down ourselves? Just be thankful that he put it up in the first place!

yet in case you, as a guy, sense the lid must be down, why might want to any lady favor to whinge about you leaving the seat up? shouldn't you be putting both down? in case you do, then you received't have females complaining to you. And, in all honesty, in case you sat on the rest room contained in the midst of the evening and fell in, you'll comprehend the criticism about not leaving the seat down.

Hey all, I can assure you that the guy asking this question does NOT have a problem putting the seat down. I don't know that I have EVER walked in the bathroom to find the seat up in the 11.5 years we've been married.

Because the seat is supposed to be down! Do you see toilet seats sold with the seat up!? No, they're in a package all wrapped up with the seat Down!! If you lift it up, put it back down... it's not a lot to ask! Guys don't complain if girls don't lift the seat up because... the seat isn't supposed to be up! It's simple!

Because women do not want to sit in a round hole and pee covered at that. Don't guys have to poo, every now and then? So, keep the seat down. :)

If they are not paying attention, they could fall in. Plus, if it's up, they have to touch the seat to put it down. It doesn't bother me though, unless the bottom part of the seat is dirty.

i don't complain one bit...HELL i wish i get him to lift the lid and not spray the seat....especially when he is drunk he forgets to lift and he also forget he has hands so he don't even aim i have taken to lifting the seat after i use it just so he don't have to

bc its gross wen we fall in the toilet just bc men are 2 lazy to put the damned seat down. just make us happy and keep the lid down

Wellllll.....In my opinion, it is because when a woman gets up in the middle of the night and she has to pee..she goes into the bathroom without turning the light on and sits down...OUCH..it sure does hurt when you go down too far and you bruise your bum...And yes, I am speaking from experience..lol...
