Maybe you could try the challenges of teaching a teenager to drive?

Humor is the HARDIST thing to talk about. Mostly because what you think is funny, others think is stupid.

Self-depricating is always good. Talk about something you did htat was really silly. Only problem is you put yourself out there. This is tough and there is at least on jerk in the class that won't let you live it down.

Another one to shoot for is something that is everyone accepts as normal that is really odd. See Jerry Seignfeld (sp) for details. His "ever noticed that .." are classics of the comedy clubs.

Cathy, this one is difficult to answer without knowing what you life experiences are. With that being said, do you have any funny stories about: family members or family reunions, first dates, baby sitting, accidents (no one hurt of course), weddings, holidays, first day of school, sports related, mispronounced last names or words, first jobs, going to the fair, living in the country, living in the city, poor service at a restaurant or store, parking, exercising, hairstyle, etc. I am just trying to help you get your creative juices going.

I like to tell the one where my little sister was chased down by this crazy guy in the grocery store. He started following her in the cereal isle. "Crazy man's" slow "stocking like" pace quickly increased. My sister found herself gripping her cart and running past the bakery and then the meat department and then the dairy, trying despartly to get away from him. My sister was glad that "Crazy man" was slowed down some because he was pushing a cart too! My sister was in a terrible panic when all of a sudden it ended. When my sister turned to see how far behind "Crazy man" was, she noticed that he had the exact items that she had, in his cart. Then my sister looked into her cart and did not recognize any of the items as hers. Oops. My sister stopped and allowed "Crazy man" to catch up to her. "Crazy man" explained that she took his cart by mistake, back in the; you guessed it; the CEREAL ISLE! Turns out, my sister is "Crazy woman". Cathy, my bet is that you have a story too!

All the best....:)
