1) Is it strange to wear casual dresses to school, with say....plain flats and a cardigan (not in the winter)?
if not,
2) Would any of these dresses work with a tall-ish girl with basically no curves.

please give your honest opinion.
thanks

1. You should definitely wear dresses to school if you want to. I wore dresses every day throughout school and my friends used to admire my sense of style.

2. I'm not sure about the first two dresses at all. The second is really cute but not the large pockets on the skirt. I think the third dress however is really nice, and from what you descibe as your body shape I think it would look great on you (and really nice to wear, especially in the summer!). I would also suggest these dresses from the website based on your body shape:

Hope this helps!

I ALWAYS see girls wearing casual dresses w/ flats and a cardigan to school and I think this style is really really cute! Since you say you don't really have any curves, go for dresses w/ a fuller bottom half, such as the one in the second link you gave. Also empire waists will add curves. Go on forever21.com and go to the dresses page. You might find some cute stuff there.

I doubt those dresses would be too fancy to wear to school - it's not common, but some girls at my school have worn dresses, and those dresses (especially the first) look like they could easily be dresses-down. I'll agree with you, though, that the last one may be a bit over-the-top for school, mostly due to the dark color - it seems like something better worn to a formal dinner. The others, though, would look cute as school outfits.

1. It is completely fine to wear dresses to school, I now and see many girls do it. I encourage you to wear what you want to school whether others think its good or bad. Plus, I LOVE the accessories your think of.
2. I love the 2nd dress but all of them seem appropriate for school.

The 1st and 3rd are my favorite. I think flats and a cardigan would look good with both of those.
