my 2yr old ingested dried yeast.any cause for alarm?what are the effects? so far i have not noticed anything except very hard stool.what are the effects of these?any longterm effect of dried yeast infection known?

Don't worry about it. Dry Yeast will be destroyed by the stomach acid. If you activate Dry Yeast in water that is a couple of degrees too hot, it kills it. That yeast isn't going in to water, but acid.

Nothing. Yeast is healthy. well at least wet yeast is. i'm not sure about dry yeast. but if you see any signs of your child feeling bad call poison control!! Give her lots of fluids to drink, give her soup. that softens the stool.

put it in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, then baste with melted butter, return to oven for another 15 minutes, let cool, then slice. enjoy!
