I have the same color of eyes, and they change from green-turquoise- blue...and i have found that the best thing to do is to use a gold/antique brown in the creases and blend it up a bit towards the eyebrow, and then put a medium-deep purple on the lid. And then of course top it all off with a thin line of black eye liner under the eye and black mascara. I as well have very light skin and dark brown hair so i hope this color combo works as well for you as it does for me!

A light gold or tan would be subtle and cute, and avoid using black eyeliner because it would probably look very harsh. Try a dark brown eyeliner on your top and bottom lids and then blend a dark brown or olive eyeshadow into the lighter golden tan. Maybelline and Almay have some very good colors like this.
I'd also recommend a nice purple--not extremely bright, but just a pretty plum color--as they are complimentary to green and they make brown pop.

Go to the makeup aisle of your nearest drugstore and find the Almay section. They have a whole set of eyeshadows specially designed to bring out your specific eye color and complement your skin & hair tone too. My friend uses the stuff for blue eyes... when applied the right way, her eyes pop!

Use a whiteish eyeshadow on your lid. Then do a dark brown in the crease and an tanish/light brown on your brow. This will look natural and open your eyes more. If you want use a shimmer powder or gloss eyeshadow to create a more festive look.

Choose a color that works for you. To brighten your eyes, I recommend shades of brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green. For an eye opening mod-look, use GOLD. To really emphasize your eyes, when applying the shadow, apply the lighter color near the inner corners of your eyes. If you want to, try violet-colored liner they can really makes eyes POP.

Dont use wierd colors like purple or red i learned that the hard way. Unless it macthes what you are wearing other than that make it match what you are wearing or it blends in. The secret to makeup is to not look like you have any on.
