dying peacefully next month, which would you choose?

Assuming, of course, that the 'life' option wouldn't just bring you back to the situation where you were being given the same 'life or death' choice ;-)

I think as a health happy woman, I 'd choose life over death as anyone in the same situation would. Had the question been different without including the death option.......

I'm a firm believer in mistakes in the past brought me to where I am and the person I am today. Even without the death option, if I had the chance to live my life again, there is a certain relationship I would not have wished to end, but it did and that is what brought me into my current relationship in which I have my first and only 4 yr old child, with my husband who is great. Knowing what I know now, faced with the choice of going back to the previous relationship as opposed to my current one.......the answer is still NO ...I'd choose my life today....but in certain infrequent moments and sometimes in rare dreams where that person crops up..........
Fortunately they are fleeting moments and the dreams I wake myself up from so I guess that speaks for itself. I'd rather be here alive having lived my past life, good times and bad, mistakes too, and still be where I am today.
Some might read this as not being totally happy in my life today but what I mean is I AM 99% happy....but as is human nature, I think there's always that thought of going back and thinking what if? IF I did go back and stayed with that person I'm convinced I wouldn't be as happy and secure as I am today. We'd probably be divorced and fighting over the 3 kids with stupid names. And that's not my life today....hubby and I are together with a fantastic 4yr old (we know he'll be our only) and totally secure with each other.

I would never, ever, ever want to go through High School again. The most pointless period of my life. Don't make me...or I get to die peacefully next month. Damn, back to high school it is (the rest I'd do again, no question!)

i would rather choose to live my life all over again than to die next month because i have a wonderful life and a loving family that is worth life living for.
