she used to be really innocent and naive, but in the summer of grade 9, she started doing pot, and drinking and hanging out with wierd people. she left my school (which is private) and went to a public school. she's really popular, doesn't care about how she does in school, and seems to have a boyfriend every month. she goes to bad parties, calls me drunk, hooks up with random people. shes a really sweet girl. is there any way i can help her or redirect her onto the right path again?

It sucks that this is happening, but sometimes there isnt much you can do but stand next to her. When she realizes how bad it all has been she is going to need a true friend, and hopefully you are around to help her up again. Just as teenagers, we dont like to be told what to do, and if you tell her something she will probably hold up against you. But, i would just point some stuff out let her know what is bothering you.

All you can really do is pray for her that she finds her way back to a healthy life style again. Right now she seems to be on a self destructive path. Did she have a major disruption in her life during that summer or just drift into rebellious behavior?
