I was rooting for the WWE basically because that was their show.

The wwf/wwe had all the big names in the book as compared to ecw/wcw who only had a few food wrestlers.
Its obvious if you think about it.....Undertaker, Rock, Jericho, Kane, Big Show vs Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, RVD, Booker T and Shane. THe ecw/wcw team had only 2 or 3 good superstars if you think about it and I was hoping the wwf win too,

I was hoping wcw/ecw would win so they would get their own show to replace smackdown.
At that time there was enough wcw and ecw talent to make a show, (actually better than sd is now)
A lot of the wcw main eventers didnt come over but they still would have had a show with Benoit, Jericho, Booker, Tazz, and DDP, and RVD (and they couldve kept ausin, after all if was ecw, not wwf that created his stone cold gimmick). And for mid carders they had chavo,kanyon, dudleys, spike, rhyno, vito, jindrack, chuck palumbo malenko gregory helms, billy kidman (i dont remember if raven and saturn were still around). they could have given a ecw/wcw show, instead of waiting until it was too late and giving ecw a show

wcw/ecw should have played some bigger cards i reckon.
half of them used to be wwf/e so wwe deserved to win
