Biophile is maybe not an official word as much as a modern colloquial one, but it has been in use to denote nature-lovers. See http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=biophile (and http://www.answers.com/topic/phile (scroll down to -phil- words, Hobbies: "biophilia: Love of nature").
You will find the word "naturophile" too, if you google it - especially in French web sites.

I think the word you are looking for is "naturalist". Not 100% sure on that, but I think it is right.
