Montpelier, Vermont is the only U.S. state capital without a McDonalds

Vermont is the only one of the 48 contiguous states without a Target store. It is also the only state within the entire United States whose state capital does not have a McDonald's restaurant.
In therory, theres no McDonald's Restaurants in Montpelier, VT, but there is one just down the street on Montpelier Rd in Barre, VT 05641

Definitely it's Montpelier, Vermont. I have been there many times and am always disappointed. I don't think there is one in the entire state.
