I been to USA few times on holidays and thought they look like the Hollywood stars slim etc. Was I in for a surprise I couldn't believe how fat the Americans are, even in Gaps clothes shop I was shocked that people could have a 50 inch waist.

a friend went to America recently and this is her reason why she thinks America is fat nation.
a over reliant car nation, nobody walks anywhere even if its only 2 minuites down the road.
America has the biggest plate portions.
meat my friend said she never saw a place where all is eaten is greasy meaty food. She was sick of the American food and by the end she was longing for a healthy meal.
she gain a lot of weight over their as she was with her boyfriends family she only ate what they ate without complaining.
(its an Irish thing we never complain on a host cooking or chose of food out of politeness)

Obesity in the USA is a major problem and has to be tackled from an early age. Fast foods are usually full of saturated and hydrogenated fats and are very bad for the body.

Ooooh yes. Every where I go, wheter it is in school to going to a resturant, obsese people are EVERYWHERE! And I didn't know the UK was catching up.....wow a lot of people like food these days :P
