Yes and no. While it may be easier to just send a message, or an email, I view that as a form of cowardice. Don't get me wrong, I am guilty of doing this sometimes. But that is the way I view it.

easier but not as much of an impact, face to face is better- facial reaction and body language will give 75% of their response despite whatever words come out of their mouth

It depends on the person and our relationship. My kids, I can talk easily face to face. My husband, he gets angry so I'd rather write it out, let him read and ponder, then he can respond without all of the anger. It gives people time to cool down and think.

Not anymore- but past girlfriends etc. yes.
I do prefer to write a nice romantic letter though

Sometimes it's better. LIke with email. I can take some time to get my head straight and then write what I want to say...especially if I was upset or angry. : )

yes I am a BIG letter writer,I feel that I can get all of my emotions out better when I know it will be awhile before they can respond.
