My cellphone. I have 3 cellphones and I love all of them. I forgot the most important one in this guys car I'm dating and he left in the middle of the early mourning so know I'm so upset I could start yelling ready loud. I love my phones and I will die if I don't get him to answer his phone. So all that to say I wouldn't be anything without my cellphones.

The possessions I have which are of most value to me are:
The letters my father wrote to me (he died in 1982).
The poems I have written but not yet published.
My collection of arrowheads I gathered years ago
throughout the west when working outdoors.
Certain photographs.
My memories.
My health and my five senses.
My dreams.
Parents cannot possess their children, as Kahil Gibran, the great Lebanese poet once wrote :
" Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but are not from you, and though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, nor even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and he bends you with his might that his arrows may go swift and far. Let your bending in the Archer's hand be for gladness; for even as he loves the arrrow that flies, so he loves also the bow that is stable."

its a bit materialistic, but my camera. It wasn't that expensive as far as cameras go, but it is a good camera, and I'm a photography student. I like what it does, what can come from it and me. And I was poor growing up and didn't ever have very nice things. so I keep it in really good condition. yeah.

If my house was burning and I could only take out one item, it would be a photo album (all of them if I could carry them)! They remind me of special times in my and my son's life and they'll be special to him one day when he's grown up.
Aloha :)
PS - People are not possessions.
