Do male orgasms feel different and/or better when achieved through sex versus through masturbation?

Sex is better, but in any case I'd say that the two are slightly different in intensity and feeling. And then there's the different psychological component which can add or detract from one or the other (i.e. fantasies, situation, location etc)

To generalise most probably yes. It is easier for a male to achieve orgasm than females for so many reasons during sex, however some men can ejaculate without achieving orgasm. A male needs to ejaculate 6 times per week to keep the prostate healthy, so masturbation is for most a viable, enjoyable necessity just like females they know there body & can control how they like it to achieve results. Nothing like the real thing tho' so many ways of having sex for both partners, everyone should try tantric like Sting.

I would say it depends. But generally men can have better orgasms masturbating than through sex.
It has to do with freedom of their fantasies.
While masturbating, we can fantasize the weirdest sex without bad conscience afterwards.
As opposite from "regular" sex, where the partner might sometime act like a "disturbing" factor.
Unless we are one of the lucky ones and have a partner who fulfills our fantasies.

On average, an orgasm via intercourse is mind-blowing. But (for me) I can masturbate until I'm about to orgasm, then stop. Then start again, then stop. After about 10 - 15 minutes I go all the way, but slow stroking, and the resulting orgasm is shattering! My wife sometimes does a handjob using that method, and it's just as great!

It is my opinion that masturbation is best. You are in control of the speed, grip and pressure etc. Involving a woman is a distraction and just inviting baggage she is sure to bring along.

Orgasm thorugh sex is the best. Masturbation can never match that for male. It is my personal experience
