what to look for when your going to have your scan when your 23weeks so u know what sex it is i know they will

tell u but i would like to find out from some of u mums what did u see on the scan for a girl and what to look for if its a boy thanks

I had the doctor turn off the tv while she was looking for the sex because I wanted my husband to surprise me so she printed out a picture and gave it to him and I loved getting the surprise that i was having a boy and hearing it from him!

I know I googled it after I had my scan at 20 weeks. And i found a medical site with a bunch of examples of both at different weeks.. but i now for the life of me cannot find it.

Trust me, by 23 weeks your tech will be able to tell what's there.

I do have my baby's weewee scan from 20 weeks.

If its a girl there should be 3 straight lines..if its a boy u will know for sure because his wee wee will usually be sticking straight up out between his legs..Just for fun ask them to point out the sex parts of the baby,guess what u think it is and then ask them to tell you. Have fun!

For a girl it looks like three white lines.... for a boy youll see one white line but since you're further along you could probibly see much better and can see the whole penis.

Most U/S techs will show you how to tell on the screen. With my 2nd son, he had his legs open and you could see it sticking out.

They will show you where to look. It's hard to tell if you are not trained for it.

ASK THEM AND THEY WILL SHOW YOU AND LABEL IT IN A VIDEO FOR YOU. I HAVE MY SONS ON TAPE.
