Alright.... I love "Silence of the Lambs" and I enjoyed "Hannibal"... but i thought that after the "the red dragon" it would be over... i think that hannibal is such a brilliant and interesting character... and i loved how anthony hopkins played him... but i dont think that they should be doing more movies about him, it's getting tiresome... and the great character that once was Lecter is turning into a common name that anyone can put into a movie!! it's unfair!!

I'm looking forward to the new movie - I find the developement of serial killers to be very interesting - what made them the way that they are, and that's what "Hannibal Rising" will be. I don't think it's overdone at all, Harris only puts out a book every 6 to 10 years, not like some writers who put out two a year.

i cant wait personnaly tho the new movie is sposed to fill u in on his earlier years a nd how he came to be the dark creature he was, which for me will be a great conclusion if its half as good as the book is, tho i agree with some others that any attempt to further the story beyond hannibal would not serve any purpose

Yeah it is getting old.
Try an old movie called "Man Hunter" it was the original of Red Dragon. William Peterson from CSI is in it and it is directed by Michael Mann (spelling ops!)

i don't know about how good of an idea it will be but the new part "Hannibal Rising" opens in theaters feb 9th.
