Simplifying
3x + 45x + 6x = 25

Combine like terms: 3x + 45x = 48x
48x + 6x = 25

Combine like terms: 48x + 6x = 54x
54x = 25

Solving
54x = 25

Solving for variable 'x'.

Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.

Divide each side by '54'.
x = 0.462962963

Simplifying
x = 0.462962963

if you look at the "equation".. annswer is right there... y=25
it really doesn't matter what x is at this point.. yur not trying to solve for x.. the equation wants y, and since it already says that the whole thing = 25, then y=25

If you want to solve for 2 unknowns you need 2 equations
