I think not....fortunately. I think that the way forward will be fingerprint ID at customs control and police stations. Fingerprint scanned and all the info automatic. Instant deportation and no rights of asylum....there are plenty of other countries in the world for the asylum seekers to choose from.

I hadn't heard this one but it would not surprise me at all. It is the easiest way for them to reduce the numbers of illegal immigrants and make the figures look better.

Presumably only the government can answer your question, the US government just did, last year wasn't it, are you talking about the US or the UK?

this makes me mad ,not your question ,i work so hard in 1978 to get my citizen papers ,i know American history i swear people born here don't know or remember ,i had to get a background 3 times ,medical checked 4 times ,passport 5 times ,every time i did one the other ones kept expiring .And now the one who jumped fences ,borders ,gates ,oceans ,rivers get a free card
Its like playing monopoly pass go and collect $200.00 .
