Giants and Dodgers hands down!

Those two went at it back and forth when they were still in New York and then both teams moved out west and the rivalry has been just as good since then.

The reason the SF/LA rivalry doesn't get as much press is because both teams haven't been solidly competitive in recent years the way the Sox and Yanks have been. Although things are definitely looking like the Dodgers will be a powerhouse in the west for the forseeable future, but the Giants appear to be headed in the other direction.

Braves/Mets doesn't have the flare it used to.
Mets/Phillies....come on?!
Tigers/White Sox...no way...the Twins have a bigger rivalry with both of those teams.
Cubs/Cards is a good one, I'd put that down as probably third or fourth behind the A's/Angels--that rivalry has gotten intense the last few years, especially with some of the brawls between the two teams when they race in the AL West is tight at the end of the year.

Good question.

Dodgers/Giants. I'm a Met fan and the fans treat games against the Braves like any other game. The rivalry was more intense a few years ago. Tigers/White Sox never struck me as a huge rivalry. Dodgers/Giants have alot of history since they both moved from New York and it always looks like those games draw big crowds. I actually think that Cardinals/Cubs is bigger than any of those but they have more of a friendly rivalry.

Braves and Mets most recently because of the intense playoff battles. Chipper Jones once told Mets fans they better put on their Yankee gear when October runs around. Over the course of history is has definetly been Dodgers and Giants. I don't even recall Tigers and White Sox really even being rivals, just teams in the same division. I guess when they get into a brawl they can really be considered a rival because that match up really has no intensity in it.

Historically, the three biggest rivalries in baseball are Yankees/Red Sox, Cards/Cubs and Dodgers/Giants.

Rockies D'Backs, Tigers Indians, and Mets Phillies are turning out to be because of the fact the communities exchange into perennial contenders. those video games are commencing as much as get as called most of the different super rivalrys. the factor that makes a competent opposition isn't brawls, or bean balls, or stuff stated interior the media, particularly its all approximately 2 communities taking part in significant September video games against one yet another year in and year out. If that doesn't ensue, the competition dies down. you could't stress a contest, they only ensue, human beings opt to do it with tips from geographical section (A's v. Angels) or purely branch opponents (Yanks v. Orioles) and thats positive, yet they do no longer stick except they have some significant memorable video games down the stretch.

I would have to say the Yankees and the Mets. This rivalry takes place in one of the biggest if not the biggest media outlet in the world. The Yankees will always be superior to the Mets.

Giants dodgers is just as big a deal as yankees red sox except they don't get the national media attention or have as many fans as the yankees. plus the dodgers pretty much see the giants as inept and pathetic much like the yanks see the sox,

Dodgers/Giants. They were when they were based in New York and continued the rivalry on the West Coast. No contest there. A great rivalry.

Chow!!

I'd say Giants/Dodgers. Their rivalry goes back to their days in New York and Brooklyn.
