Cedar Key is a small fun place to visit. Palatka (just for the St. John's view). Jacksonville is a nice city but I don't know what's there to do. Crystal River you can snorkel and swim with manatees. Gainesville home of the Florida Gators, but there isn't much else in the town but the university. Beaches, anywhere along the coat. A lot of Central North Florida is just country, forest and hick land.
