Who thinks fighting for this war is crazy?

a lot of people think it's a good thing but to me it makes no sense at all. People risking their lives on a war that has no purpose. All these things that are happening in America as we speak, we want to go to another country and try to dictate their lives. now does that sound right? i think america needs to get their priorities straight. I was so shocked to hear they killed sadam hussein which i think was for no reason at all. Leave iraq alone, let them live in peace!! i know most of you are going to disagree and say that fighting for your country is a courageous thing to do and you should take pride in it but fighting for the wrong reasons is a totally different story. what do you think?

Unfortunately there are other considerations. American's abandoned the people (the Kurds) of Iraq in the first war (Desert Storm) after encouraging them to rise up against Sadam. The result was 180,000 people killed in the next year as Sadam slaughtered those who protested his right to rule them. We have again encouraged the Iraqui people to assert their independence from dictatorship and believe in the democratic form of government. Since almost every government surrounding Iraq is a form of religous theocracy this is very unpopular with the neighbors. These same neighbors are doing everything they can to stomp on the people of Iraq by encouraging uprisings against the new government. If we back out now there will be millions killed, not 180,000 like last time.

Another factor to consider. Since we entered Iraq there have been no successful terror strikes in the USA. This is no coincidence. The people who hate us are focusing on the conflict in Iraq. As soon as they think they have won, you can be sure they will turn their attention back to hitting us at home.

Judging by the propaganda being thrown around, I would say the Islamists are crying the loudest about America fighting them in Iraq!! The Islamists led by Saddam were well on their way to taking over in the Middle East. He nearly destroyed Iran. No rights for women, ignorance with mindless ritual worshipping of Allah (a false prophet by Jesus' terms), a vicious thuggery mindcontrol of all, suiclidal maniacs ready and willing to die for 72 virgins,except the rulers who are keeping all the oil money that hard working Americans, Euros, etc. are paying the thieves and liars for oil they accidently are sitting on.
If it had not been for the French and Germans helping us in our American Revolutionary war, we would not have the freedom and democracy that we do have now.!!
Of all people, women should be backing Bush and America to liberate the Muslim women from their hopeless slavery to these crazy Islmanists!!

Bush is a ******* maniac. He will not stop at anything if there is precious oil reserves at stake. The Iraq war is the biggest failure in American history. We only have Bush for one more year...

I Think Bushs plan to send in more troops is a scandelous backlash to the dems taking majority. Its his little spoiled bratty way of saying "I still have power."
