A lot of people in Europe vehemently dislike the President, yes, that's true but any sensible person knows that individually Americans are perfectly nice.
Another problem we see though, is that some Americans have some funny ideas about Europe. I've heard people say that Europeans are jealous of Americans and that's why we criticise but I'm not entirely sure what we are supposed to be jealous of. It's annoying when Americans start with the whole 'USA is the best country in the whole world, we are free, blah blah blah'. But most people hate the government, not the people and anyone who hates all Americans, well they are the idiots.

I do not hate Americans, I am Canadian. Where I live we have many Americans that come to spend their summers and have become very good friends with us. They are different, a bit bolder, but we have some great times together. They love our beer. I am a bit upset that the American government will be using those unmanned planes along our borders. I think Bush hates Canada.

Don't hate us Americans cause of a jackass dictator who took over, changed our laws, altered our Constitution, the very fabric that makes us America.
The world saw us donate to the tsunami, the world saw us donate to Katrina even though our government fouled it up. The world saw the out pouring of love on 9/11 even though our government pulled it off. Americans are good people....the government, media and other organizations are what are evil.
Don't hate Americans.....HATE OUR GOVERNMENT AND WHAT IT HAS STOOD FOR IN THE PAST 40 YRS. IF NOT WHAT IT HAS STOOD FOR SINCE 1776. It has been corrupt by the elite since its birth and the American people have been fed a matrix life.

i don't hate Americans and have a few Friends from AMercia but some American TV and politic have given Americans a bad image but most Europeans can tell the different between real and image and very few American have problems when they visit Europe most say they have great time.
i think more Americans should visit other countries in this side of the Atlantic and Europeans should visit America to brake some of the misconceptions we have of each other.

Basically, yes. Our leaders continual meddling in the affairs of other countries has bred a lot of hate for our country as a whole. Of course, an occasional war here and there to grab land or resources doesn't help our situation either. You should keep this sort of thing in mind when the next presidential elections come around.

Well, the people in the countries who DEFINITELY will not get attacked by Bush probably feel pretty good about us. The point is that that MF is ruining the country and doing DAMN WELL as he pleases. Well The Dixie Chicks caused some controversy when they made a comment about our President,that doesn't mean that they don't like the people in the USA.Everyone is entitled to their opinion,that does not make you a bad person.Europeans are friendly people and they have their opinions of the USA ,just like us on them.And the world continues to revolve.

This sounds like a case of paranoia, I'm a native of the UK, and I don't hate people from the US.
Chill out, don't be UK phobic. while Bush is unspeakable, I'm sure this doesn't apply to US citizens in general, I like Michal Moor, Al Gore and Sigourny Weaver.
By the way a lot of people here can't stand Tony Blair, myself included.

Don't be afraid to go to Europe. People don't hate Americans - although be ready to face some criticism for your country's foreign policy.
I do hate some americans, especially those who hrew french fries at me while I was walking with my friends through a residential area in a small town in New England...that was like...rude...u know!

Hi, I'm English. I don't hate Americans. You can't really put so many millions of people under 1 category. All people are different, thats what makes meeting people so great.
