Unless this training is something you will be certified for, I don't believe you should ever have to pay a fee. Sounds like someone is scamming!! Run, run far away!

This sounds illegal to me. I have never heard of a business that "charges " to teach an employee. Contact the employment or labor governing body in your state. Are these people from another country? They need to learn the law.

The only possible thing I can think of is paying to get your liquor server's licence. Even then the employer should pay for it if it would be a requirement for the position.

NOPE.....no training fees...... you'll prolly have to buy a few products (such as aprons, etc.), but no training fees......

No, they should train you while you are being paid; not you paying them.
