I think they're both great. At first I listened to Sam's Town and I didn't like it (its kind of a different sound). But actually, everything on there is pretty spectacular. But Hot Fuss at the same time was a really good debut. What do you think?

I like Sam'a town. Its shows how much they have grown together as a band. Brendon Flowers said in an interview that he didn;t want to make just another hot fuss. Sam's town is better

I like Hot Fuss better because some of the songs' quality then Sam's Town not to say that Sam's Town is not as good but still... Hot Fuss for me =)

I like Hot Fuss better. They had a strong debut album. Sam's Town is alright, but not as great as Hot Fuss. They are starting to overplay When You Were Young, though.

I feel the same way as you did, hot fuss is by far the better, but when you were young is hot and so is the song about skin, on sams town. I think brandon is way hot though, and i am 43 yrs old.

Hot Fuss. It was a really good new-wave-ish album that's just fun to listen to.
Sam's Town was ok, but it's not nearly as fun. They tried to channel Bruce Springsteen and failed at reaching the level of the Boss' work.
The riffs lack polish, the lyrics aren't as good, the sound is middle of the line in comparison with their competition, and overall it's a step below Hot Fuss. Still a decent album that I listen to once in a while, but Hot Fuss is my pick here.

Hot Fuss would be my choice I do like Sams town and went thru a phase where it was my favourite but now im back with hot fuss. I just hope i get to see them live soon.

Hot Fuss was better to me. Sam's Town was just...too different to me and it strayed too far away from everything. I like it when artists try different things, but still manage to keep some aspect of what made their first album a hit to begin with.

Absolutely HOT FUSS!!! It was indeed a hot fussin album (for their debut)> Every track is to be paid attention for! You never know if they were dead serious or it was just a funny line. Hot fuss, has more beaty tunes. :) HOT FUSS, hOT FUSS!!!!!
