I'm a arsenal fan. I am sick of hearing all this nonsense about arsenal being anti english.

The facts are that the brazilian national team play in Italy and Spain, they're hardly any that play in brazil.

The dutch national team play in England, Italy, German and Spain again hardly any in Holland.

The Irish national team play in England and Scotland, hardly any stay in Ireland

If England produced enough good players, teams around the world would want them.

The simple fact is foreign players try harder. They don't go out drinking and fighting, they are easier to work with and they put in 100%

Wenger works with Walcott and Hoyte now. In the past he worked with Adams, Dixon, Campbell, Cole etc

Wenger will only work with gentlemen and will only use players that are gifted in his teams.

Arsenal will not lower there standard just to keep the rest of England happy.

The simple truth is England do not produce enough world class players, good player not world class.

Hey Roy, Ryan Giggs was born in Cardiff. He was raised in Salford however.

I respect those players, but if arsenal had them wouldn't man utd and chelsea turn to foreign players?

Also it's not just the arsenal scouts that are not interessted in the young english players, it seems to be most of europe, why? because they have seen the job the foreign players can do, hence my brazil, holland rant from before.

Trust me, if they was a great english player who behaved off the field, wenger would be trying to get them, just like walcott & hoyte

If your good enough you have a chance at Arsenal. It does not matter what colour skin, what nationality or what religion when you pull on the red and white shirt.

Arsenal are not anti English.
Wenger and Arsenal are just trying to be the best they could.
People who comment sayin that Arsenal is anti English are just 2 coward 2 admit that Wenger were able 2 built a good, competence, strong team from players outside England.
Its a blessed for us (and also 4 England) when Bergkamp joined Arsenal in 1995, followed by Viera then "The Man" - Wenger - himself in 1996, cause it was "The Hallmark" of EPL.
It was the starting of the so-called "The New Generation" of the English football. With more players comin in from outside England, today the EPL is the best league among other (eg La Liga, etc)
Last time people were saying that Arsenal were boring.
But then we won the double in 1971.
So u know what? Let them be!
We may play with 11 non English player, but with them we will try 2 kick the hell out of every team in EPL!!!

Though I'm not an English, I'm an Arsenal fan. I don't think Arsenal is anti-English. Not having many English players in the team doesn't mean you are anti-English. In fact, it is difficult to be a world-class player by playing just for Arsenal. You have to get out and gain experience. That's why most of the national players played in foreign leagues...to gain experiences. In fact, we do have a few English players in the team including Walcott.

Dont get me wrong, I hate Aresnal, but you have to admire the football they are capable of.

Do I think they could produce this same football with majority english players? Probably not.

The fact is that Mr Wenger has to manage the club, the rules state he can play 11 foreigners, so guess what, he can play 11 foreigners.

You could potentially build a team with majority english players which are capable of playing like Arsenal but the cost would be phenomenal. For example, I dont know what Eboue cost Arsenal but he looks like a fantastic prospect, an english right back of the same quality, lets say Micah Richards, is going to cost £18m?? Thats why Mr Wenger has the sense to buy foreign.

Maybe this does harm the national team by limiting our strength in depth of players playing for title contending teams, but it certainly makes the Premier League the best league in the world.

Hey fellow gooner, the facts are simple, we got the best manager, best team, and best ground. And we aint racist, there just isnt enough good english players out there, no-one can afford them apart from chelski and the mancs.

But when the ground is paid for, ( About the same time as walcott is given the captains armband, for england and arsenal) we'll have more money than both of them put together.

Hey Micheal, I couldn't have say it better myself. You're the man.....('',)

Arsenal is a world class team and if people hate them just because they have more foreign player in it. They are just blind to see what the players can do during a game.
I know others would say that they are entitled to like any team they like or hate them. But hating the team because the players are not English is very stupid in my opinion.
I hope your question can make them realise how wrong they are.

there is a flaw in your question,
adams, dixon, etc where already at the **** when wenger showed up as well a cole.
the problem with wenger is he wont take a chance on british talent. you only have to take a look a jol at spurs. he's not afraid to take a gamble on english players and i think it just might pay off for him. huddlestone is a real bargin and he will be a great spurs player in the future. jol seems to scan the lower leagues looking for these guys. seems to pick them up cheap enough and is more than willing to work with them. could every other premiership team not try and do the same never mind arsenal?

The premier League is far to costly to buy players from. This is why shrewd managers like Wenger wisely look elsewhere to bring in good young players.

I think wenger is a genius - his teams play fantastic football, he virtually never makes a bad buy and he breaks even in the transfer market because he sells people on at a profit

I think they are going to be up there with the best in the next few seasons - they have some excellent young talent there

I hate to admit it being a true and loyal Geordie but there you go
